Glossary
Basis point (bps) — One hundredth of a percent. 100 bps = 1%; 250 bps = 2.5%.
Bonding curve — A coin's pre-graduation trading phase on moto.fun, where price is set by a formula rather than a pool. Curve trades pay the creator 0.5%.
Buyer fee — Catflow's 1% fee, paid by the buyer on top of a sale price.
Catflow — Catpound's market for a coin's creator-fee right, held as an NFT. See How it works.
Claim — Collecting a flow's accrued fees from the launchpad's fee source and forwarding them to the NFT's owner, less the claim fee. Open to anyone; only the owner is ever paid.
Claim fee — Catflow's 2.5% cut of a claim, taken as the position forwards it. Baked into the flow at creation.
Clone — A minimal proxy contract. Every flow is a clone of the position implementation, deployed by the factory when a flow is created.
CreatorFeeRegistry — MotoSwap's contract that records, per coin, the address allowed to claim
its creator fees. A flow is handed the right by a setCreator call to this registry.
CreatorFeeVault — MotoSwap's contract where creator fees accrue, keyed per coin and per quote asset. The position claims from it.
Expiry — The mandatory end date on a listing, after which it is simply gone.
Fee redirect (setFeeRedirect) — pons's equivalent of MotoSwap's setCreator: the locker call
that names the address paid a coin's creator share. A flow is handed the right by calling it with
the position's address.
Fee stream — A coin's creator-fee income over time — what a flow represents and what a buyer is buying.
Flow — The product: a coin's creator-fee right, held as an NFT. Holding the NFT holds the right.
Graduated — A coin that has left the bonding curve and trades in its own pools. Pool swaps pay the creator 0.3%.
isActive() — Whether a position currently holds its coin's fee right (the launchpad names it
as the fee recipient). False before hand-over and after an admin takeover. buy refuses an
inactive flow.
Listing — A fixed-price offer to sell a flow, in ETH, with a mandatory expiry.
MOTO — MotoSwap's token on Ethereum. One of the two assets a flow pays out in.
moto.fun — MotoSwap's coin launchpad, where the coins a flow is built on are launched.
MotoSwap — The launchpad, registry and fee vault behind moto.fun. Catpound does not control them.
NFT — The ERC-721 that is the flow. Whoever holds it holds the fee right. It resells on any NFT marketplace.
Offer — A WETH bid on a flow, listed or not. No funds move until the owner accepts.
Payback — Price ÷ trailing fee income, usually shown as "months to pay back". The number that makes two listings comparable.
Pending fees — Fees accrued but not yet claimed. A sale through Catflow settles them to the seller; an off-market transfer carries them to the new holder.
pons — The memecoin launchpad on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), and the source of the coins a Robinhood flow is built on. The Robinhood counterpart of moto.fun.
Position — The per-coin clone contract that holds the fee right and forwards claims. Its owner is whoever holds its NFT.
release(to) — Hands the fee right to a wallet you name and leaves the position with nothing.
Requires isActive().
Robinhood Chain — The chain Catflow's second deployment runs on (chain ID 4663), against pons. The Ethereum and Robinhood markets are separate; flow IDs are unrelated across them.
Seller fee — Catflow's 1% fee, taken from the sale price before the seller is paid.
WETH — Wrapped ETH. Fees accrue and internal transfers use WETH; the app unwraps to native ETH on the way out, falling back to WETH if a recipient refuses ETH.
