Connect Your Wallet

To use Catpound Finance, you need OPWallet -- a browser extension wallet built for OPNet. It handles both your Bitcoin keys and the OPNet smart contract layer.

Install OPWallet

1. Visit the OPWallet Chrome Web Store page and click Add to Chrome.
2. Pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access.

OPWallet works with Chrome, Brave, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers.

Create or Import a Wallet

New wallet:

1. Open OPWallet from your browser toolbar.
2. Choose Create New Wallet.
3. Write down your 12-word seed phrase on paper. Store it somewhere safe and offline.
4. Confirm your seed phrase when prompted.
5. Set a strong password for the extension.

Import existing wallet:

1. Open OPWallet and choose Import Wallet.
2. Enter your 12-word seed phrase.
3. Set a password for the extension.

Protect Your Seed Phrase

Your seed phrase is the master key to your funds. Never share it. Never enter it on a website. Never store it in a text file or cloud service. Write it on paper and keep it in a secure location.

Connect to Catpound Finance

1. Go to catpound.org.
2. Click the Connect button in the top right corner of the navigation bar.
3. A popup from OPWallet will appear asking you to approve the connection.
4. Click Approve in OPWallet.
5. Your wallet address will appear in the header once connected.

Select the Right Network

Catpound Finance is currently deployed on OPNet Testnet. Make sure your wallet is set to the correct network:

1. Open OPWallet.
2. Click the network selector (usually in the top area of the extension).
3. Choose OPNet Testnet (addresses start with opt1...).

When Catpound launches on mainnet, you will switch to the Bitcoin Mainnet network.

Fund Your Wallet

You need two things to interact with Catpound:

• MOTO tokens -- to deposit into the vault (see Get MOTO)
• A small amount of BTC -- to pay transaction fees (there is no separate gas token on OPNet)

On testnet, you can obtain test BTC from the OPNet testnet faucet.
